# Favourites and "Quick checkout": everyday tools with a single tap

Every mechanic has tools they need almost every day. Instead of searching for or scanning them every time, there is **"Quick checkout"**: at the top of *My day* and on the kiosk after signing in – one tap on **Issue** and the tool is booked to you.

### Step 1: Save a tool as a favourite

1. Open the tool (search or scan the label).
2. At the top next to the status, tap **☆ Save** – it turns into **★ Favourite**.
3. Tapping again removes the favourite.

Favourites belong only to you – colleagues have their own. Tools of other sites and retired tools cannot be saved.

### Step 2: Quick checkout

*My day* shows the **Quick checkout** section at the top:

- first your **favourites** (★),
- then automatically your **most frequently used tools of the last 90 days** (up to 8, with "5×" for the number of loans) – even if you have not saved anything.

Each card shows the inventory number, description, whether the tool is **available** and its **storage location**.

- **Available**: tap **Issue** – the tool is booked to you immediately, with your business's default loan duration as the return date (*Settings → Workflows*). The same rules apply as for any issue (qualification, briefing, maximum number, other people's reservations).
- **Not available** (with a colleague, defective, under inspection): tap **Notify me when available** – you receive a notification as soon as it is back. Tools you are already waiting for show "Waiting".
- **With you**: you currently have the tool yourself.

### On the kiosk

After signing in on the kiosk tablet (NFC card or staff number), the same tools appear as large tiles above the usual buttons. Tap a tile = issue; you are then back on the kiosk start page and see the confirmation. Tools that are not available are grey, with *Notify me when available*.

### Good to know

- Tools of other sites do not appear – use the site request for those.
- If a tool is deleted, it also disappears from favourites. When an employee leaves or is permanently deleted, their favourites are removed.
- The data access report (*My profile → View all data stored about me*) lists your favourites.
