If employees with different languages work in your business, Tulz can also translate the tool names – not just menus and pages. An administrator switches this on under Settings → Business → Translate tool names automatically (off by default; the setting appears if the provider offers translation).
- The names of tools and parts are translated into German, English and Italian – in the background, new tools usually within an hour.
- Every employee sees the names in their language: in the tool list, on the tool page (with the original in small print below), in the parts, in the search and in the workshop network. The search also finds tools with words in the other languages.
- The original name is always what is saved – edit it as usual.
- Numbers, sizes and profiles ("AF 13", "T40") stay unchanged.
- Switching it off deletes the translations again.
Only the tool names are sent to the translation service, no employee or loan data. Sets from the set library are already translated; Import tool set creates them in the language of your tool names.
