Photos help with finding tools again and with the completeness check. You can take them directly with the phone camera or upload them as a file (JPG, PNG or WebP).
- Tool: a main image and further images in the tool form; the main image appears in the list, the search and on the tool page.
- Parts of a set: one photo per part – handy for the checklist when returning.
- Damage and loss: take a photo directly when reporting.
- Portrait or rotated? Phone photos automatically appear the right way up.
- Tulz reduces large photos to a handy size when uploading. Images can only be viewed after signing in.
Optimising images (if offered): with Settings → Business → Optimise images with Imagify, Tulz compresses tool images and damage photos more strongly in the background – lists and tool pages load faster, the dimensions stay the same. For this the images are sent to the Imagify service, which deletes them after 24 hours at the latest. It is off by default.
