If a tool is issued whose inspection is overdue or falls due within the advance warning period (Settings → Inspection advance warning, 30 days by default), Tulz shows a note since 2.40 – already in the issue form when the tool is preselected, and after booking as a message (also for pick lists, there for up to three tools).
If there is another available unit with a longer valid inspection (same entry in the VAG test equipment list, or same name, manufacturer and type at the same site), Tulz suggests it directly: Alternative with valid inspection: WZ-0042 (inspected until 01.06.2027) – as a link in the form.
The note blocks nothing: the foreman decides whether the tool is used anyway. Deliberately postponed inspections (Postpone test) do not trigger a note until the new date.
