A dealer group has five sites and one tool that is kept at only one of them. Tulz keeps a separate stock with its own employees per site – and still shows in the search which site holds the tool you are looking for and whether it is free right now. Head office sees everything, the site only its own.
Through the workshop network the same applies between different businesses: the workshop next door borrows the puller that sits in your cabinet. Request, approval, pick list and return run in Tulz, on both sides.
How it works in the workshop
- Create sites – each site with its own storage locations, employees are assigned to a site (Sites).
- Search – the result list shows the site; a tool from another site can be requested or reserved.
- Set up the network – invitation code to the partner workshop, choose the release: all tools, only certain sites, view only or request as well (Workshop network).
- Lend – the partner requests, you approve, Tulz creates the pick list and reminds about the return (Requesting a tool).
What comes with it
- Roles bound to a site: the storekeeper at Site North sees and books North only
- Relocate between sites by scan, with log
- Network groups for dealer associations or guilds, bulk requests, reminder and damage report to the partner
- Reservation at the partner as soon as they approve
- No money between the businesses – the network is neighbourly help, not rental
- You decide what the partner sees: name, numbers and availability, no serial numbers, prices or notes
Who it is for
Dealer groups with several sites, businesses with outstations – and independent workshops that want to share expensive special tools with colleagues.
Frequently asked questions
Does an employee see the tools of the other sites?
He sees in the search that they exist and where they are; he can only book at his own site unless his role allows more.
What does the partner workshop see of my stock?
Only what you release: name, numbers, availability and site. Serial numbers, prices, notes and your employees stay private.
Can I end the network again?
Any time – open loans run to their end, after that the partner sees nothing more.
