For recurring inspections there are fixed inspection templates with measuring points and limits. The measured values then appear in the printable inspection report.
Templates
- Electrical test DGUV V3 (DIN VDE 0701-0702) for protection class I (with protective earth: visual check, protective earth resistance ≤ 0.3 Ω, insulation resistance ≥ 1 MΩ, protective conductor current ≤ 3.5 mA, function), protection class II (double insulated: insulation resistance ≥ 2 MΩ, touch current ≤ 0.5 mA) and protection class III (extra-low voltage, e.g. charger or battery)
- Torque wrench according to DIN EN ISO 6789: nominal value and readings at 20, 60 and 100 % – permitted is ± 4 % (up to 10 Nm ± 6 %); Tulz calculates the deviation itself
- Visual and functional check: damage, marking, function
Recording an inspection with a template
- Record the inspection on the tool page or under Inspections.
- Under Inspection template and measured values, choose the template and enter the values (comma or point). Points such as the visual check are rated OK or not OK.
- Every value is checked against the limit immediately. The result, however, is always chosen by the inspector – if a value is outside the limit, Tulz points this out when saving.
The tool remembers the template for the next inspection; you can also preset it when editing the tool under Inspection template.
Inspection report
On the tool page, a summary of the measured values appears below the last inspection; Inspection report opens the report to print or save as PDF – with tool, manufacturer, serial number, all measured values, limits, rating, inspector and signature field.
The limits are the usual guide values of the standards. For longer cables, the protective earth resistance may increase by 0.1 Ω per additional 7.5 m (max. 1 Ω); the inspector assesses differing manufacturer specifications.
