TulzTool management

Plan a pick list for later

Help › Everyday use

If a job for one of the next days is already fixed – say the timing belt change on Thursday – plan the pick list today. Tulz reserves the tools for the employee from the issue day until the return date; they are only issued on the day itself.

Planning

  1. Pick lists → Create pick list → Plan for later – or Plan for later on a job template.
  2. Choose the employee, Issue on and Due, plus the job number if needed.
  3. Tick or scan the tools. From a template all tools are ticked – including those still on loan today: they may go on the pick list if they are due back by the issue day.
  4. Plan pick list.

If a tool is already reserved for someone else during this period, Tulz tells you right away by whom and when. Other employees cannot borrow the planned tools during this period; workshop managers and the tool store only get a note.

Until the issue day

The pick list appears under Pick lists → Planned and in the employee's My day. Each item shows its status today:

Print packing list prints the list with storage locations so the tools can be collected in advance. Add tools with Plan more tools or with Add to pick list on the tool page.

Reminder

The day before, Tulz tells the employee and whoever planned it whether all tools are ready or what is still missing; on the issue day the reminder to issue follows. If a planned tool is reported defective, lost or sent for inspection in the meantime, the message comes immediately. How (bell, push, email) everyone sets under My profile → Notifications.

On the issue day

Issue now issues everything available in one step and redeems the reservations. Anything still missing stays reserved and on the pick list – as soon as it is there, click Issue now again. Anyone allowed to borrow tools themselves can also issue their own planned pick list.

Delete releases all reservations of a planned pick list.
